How It Got Started
What You Need to Know
Back in my tenth grade year of high school, I began to learn about and play the accordion, an instrument essential for Mexican Regional Music, where I grew a new love and passion for music. Not only this but I also really began to get in touch with my Mexican background and started to listen to Mexican Regional Music more and really looking out for songs that incorporated this instrument I began to love. Through my gain of passion and want to learn more and get better at playing, I knew I wanted to form a system that would allow for me to be able to play the accordion more so that I may progress and continue learning. Not only this but I wanted to offer a system to high school students at Chinquapin Preparatory to be able to release their academic stress by doing something that they also loved, as playing the accordion was a way I escaped.
